I’m so thankful that we have the means to provide simple meals for our family. Thankful for how the Lord provides for us each week!
Monday: these leftover beans and jiffy corn muffins (those are so worth the fifty cent they are!)
Tuesday: Taco Tuesday will be black bean quesadillas
Wednesday: A potato and meat layer dish from a church cookbook I have. I’ll share the recipe if its share worthy.
Thursday: we are having dinner at a sweet family’s house.
Friday: Brinner – corn pancakes and eggs!
Saturday: spaghetti. simple and classic meal that can’t be beat!
What are you cooking this week?
Chicken and dumplings, roast, chicken parm and smoking a pork butt for a get together with friends.
All I know for sure are tonight and Thursday: Tonight is Kielbasa and kraut (amazingly, my kids love that!) Thursday are homemade sloppy joes that we’ll be making for us and another family.
I need to look at what else is in the freezer, what’s on our eMeals menu this week and I still have to go to the grocery store. I know I have some fish so maybe fish tacos (those were good the time we had them – I just have to dig through all my emeal files to find the recipe). Another possibility calling my name is Grilled French Onion Sandwiches.
I used to have it all planned out – and then…well, I stopped because Brad hates it planned early in the week. He would rather have options and then choose early in the day. :/ and that, my friends, is why I rarely cook dinner.
tonight we had easy beef tips and rice….I emailed the recipe to you already!
Tues: fish tacos (gortons frozen fish pieces beer battered they are REALLY good)
Weds: K has a sandwich because he goes straight to church from work and we have grilled cheese or something fun like that
Thurs: greek chicken with potatoes and green beans
Fri: probably breakfast or pizza (homemade) depends on the vibe in the house!!!
weekend still up in the air! But, I LOVE the sloppy Joes gina makes!
